Abstract


The study examined the influence of selected situational factors on entrepreneurial intention among post graduates students at Tarumanagara University, Jakarta. The models of this includes perceived desirability, perceived feasibility, social norm, and risk taking on the entrepreneurial intention on the individual. The study uses research survey with questionnaire as data collection instrument. The data then will be analyzed by using double linear regression, the F-test and t-test and the testing using IBM SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) Statistics 19 program. This research also uses classic assumption test that comprising a normality test, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity test. According to all compiled data research, it show that the research data are normally distributed. Based on multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity tests, there is no variable that deviate from classic assumption. This test indicate that the data have fulfilled requirement to use double linear regression model. Statistical test that has been one to prove that the perceived desirability, perceived feasibility, and risk taking significantly influence entrepreneurial intention. While the social norm was found to have no significant effect on entrepreneurial intention in this study.
