KAJIAN PENGARUH VARIABEL OKTAN TERHADAP UNJUK KERJA MESIN BENSIN SATU SILINDER

Abstract


The performance of a machine in general can be expressed from the Amount of power generated. One attempt to improve engine performance is to use an octane booster in the flow of liquid fuel. Working from a given octane booster in fuel is to increase the temperature of combustion engine that can make fuel pembakan become more complete and efficient in-cylinder engine of a vehicle, so that eventually it can be concluded that with the addition of octane booster to increase engine performance. Increased engine performance with the magnetic field treatment including the increase in maximum power of 8,7% in the middle rounds, the decline in maximum specific fuel consumption of 0,63% in the middle rounds, increase the maximum thermal efficiency of 2,92% in the middle rounds, so that eventually it can be concluded that with the treatment magnetic field can enhance engine performance
